FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, in particular, equipment for blowing-in of blast furnaces after construction works and first-order and eleven-order repair works.
SUBSTANCE: method involves charging blast-furnace coke into hearth to the level of air tuyeres with following charging of pitch coke having sulfur content less than 0.25% in an amount of 1.156·Vs·√c, t, where Vs is volume of shoulders, m3; √c is bulk mass of blast-furnace coke, t/m3; filling remaining volume of furnace with blowing-in burden containing blast-furnace coke; charging burden with constant ore charge from height H=11-0.008/T-800/m above the level of air tuyeres, where T is blowing temperature, 0C, at initial stage of blowing-in procedure; blowing in natural gas in an amount providing for theoretical burning temperature of 1,750-1,8000C; increasing oxygen concentration in blowing gas from 21% to the level providing for theoretical burning temperature of 2,000-2,1000C.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by reducing introduction of sulfur together with fuel of blowing-in burden.
