FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spark dischargers (gaps), particularly to device for ignition fuel mixtures in internal combustion engines. Invention is aimed at creating device for ignition fuel mixtures which can be controlled by widely used controllers for two-spark ignition coils providing discharge pulse with leading edge in units of nanoseconds, duration of tens of nanoseconds and flat top, which is reliable, simple in design and nonexpensive in mass production. According to invention, proposed igniter is essentially source of high-voltage discharge pulses including accumulator discharged directly through spark gaps of two spark plugs. Used as source of high-voltage discharge pulses is resonance pulse transformer with inductively coupled circuits (Tesla transformer), and coaxial accumulating line is used as accumulator whose central conductor is divided by break in middle. Ends of high-voltage coil of Tesla transformer secondary circuit are connected in break. Ends of central conductor of accumulating line are connected to spark gaps of two spark plugs. Coils of resonance transformed with inductively coupled circuits are used as noncontact connector for connecting accumulating line to pulse discharge voltage source. Coil of secondary circuit is made in form of jack being fully connected to accumulating line in point of break of central conductor, and coil of primary circuit is formed as socket of switch housing.
EFFECT: simple design, improved reliability, increased service life, reduced cost at mass production.
