FIELD: combination mechanisms with complex motion of outlet links used at operation of machines, machine tools, presses and other equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes combination mechanism in the form of transfer mechanism having driving and outlet links and actuating mechanism having driving and outlet links (the last are provided with jaws for gripping articles) and drive unit. Outlet link of transfer mechanism serves as drive link of actuating mechanism and it includes movable rod to which guide is rigidly secured. There is curvilinear groove in body of guide. Driving link of transfer mechanism is provided with roller for engaging with said groove. Driving link of transfer mechanism is in the form of crank; its outlet link is in the form of rocker arm performing reciprocation motion. Curvilinear groove in body of guide is S-shaped one, and it is in the form of two rigidly joined arcs. Radius of each arc is equal to length of crank of transfer mechanism. Rotation center of crank transfer mechanism, joining line of said arcs of guides and motion line of movable rod are laid in the same plane. Movable rod of outlet link of transfer mechanism is mounted at least in two stationary guides.
