FIELD: binding materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preparing silicon-containing binder widely applied for manufacture of various building materials and products with various consumer properties, as well as for manufacture of paints, coatings, impregnation fluids. Method of invention is realized by mixing (i) inorganic matrix (silicate matrix or alkali metal or ammonium hydroxide) with (ii) silicon-containing raw material with particle size between 0.5 and 2.0 mm or the same preliminarily disintegrated to particle size between 40 Е and 50 mcm and moisture content not exceeding 6% and (iii) water (fresh, sea, or mineralized water). Stirring is effected in high-speed mixer at stirring speed at least 2000 rpm, mixing vibration frequency of particles 3500 to 30000 Hz over a period of time long enough to achieve density 1.2-2.2 g/cm3. Product has silica modulus Al2O3/SiO2 = 15-30.
EFFECT: enabled manufacture of strong materials showing high waterproofness, acid and atmospheric resistance.
