FIELD: mechanical engineering; reservoir and tank building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vertical cylindrical reservoir includes pile foundation with circular foundation mat, flat bottom, edges, vertical wall rigidly connected with edges, floating roof and water-way system. Floating roof and bottom of reservoir are flexible connected with vertical wall and edges of reservoir. Moreover, floating roof is furnished with flat cylindrical spiral rigidly mated by lower end with floating roof and by upper end, with stiffening ring of reservoir vertical wall. Flexible and airtight cylindrical envelope is placed inside flat spiral. Cylindrical envelope is hermetically connected by its lower wend over perimeter of floating roof, and by upper end is hermetically connected with stiffening ring of reservoir. Moreover, reservoir bottom is flexibly connected with edges through damping member made in form of ring corrugating.
EFFECT: elimination of considerable stresses in bearing and guard members of reservoir, provision of sealed clearance between floating roof and wall of reservoir, improved operation reliability of reservoir.
