FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has milk receiver, milk cooling metal reservoir, evaporator, refrigerating unit, cold accumulator, heat-exchanger, panel-shaped freon evaporator mounted on outer side of metal reservoir and equipped with additional multiple-tier tubular evaporator positioned in cold accumulator, whose cavity is filled with water freezing-on with ice on its spiral tube. Additional evaporator is connected with refrigerating unit. Vessel is connected via iced water feeding pump with milk feeding heat-exchanger for feeding of milk from receiver to reservoir. Panel-type and tubular evaporators are connected through electrically controlled switch.
EFFECT: increased milk cooling rate and reduced power consumption.
