FIELD: heavier-than-air flying vehicles with flapping wings.
SUBSTANCE: proposed flying vehicle is provided with cradle with pilot cabin. Drive of blades is located in separate body which is mounted on cover of cradle by means of spherical support. Manual control lever is secured on body. Drive includes motor to whose shaft crankshaft is secured. Connecting rod is secured on crankshaft. Swinging link is used as guide of connecting rod. Two cardans are secured opposite each other on free end of connecting rod; load-bearing members of flying vehicle blades are secured to these cardans. Shaft of driven fork of cardan and load-bearing member form screw pair. Load-bearing member is provided with spherical support mounted in its central part. Spherical support is provided with stops in form of washers secured on load-bearing member on both sides from spherical support. Spherical support is mounted on body by means of bearing.
EFFECT: improved takeoff, flight and landing characteristics of flying vehicle.
