FIELD: carbon materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of preparation of carbon materials and can be used in production of elevated-capacity sorbents, conducting components of special heat-releasing structural units, e.g. floors, barriers, walls, as well as antiicing coatings. Graphite powder is evenly placed on metal underpan and mixed with 30-62% perchloric acid at weight ratio 1:0/15 to 1:0.5, respectively. Underpan is placed into thermo-pressure chamber, heated to 100-200оС and held at this temperature for 2 to 15 min. Treatment of graphite powder with perchloric acid and heating are conducted at pressure 0.3 to 1.2 kg/cm2. Finished product is homogenous and isotropic, shows stable conductivity and high sorption capacity with regard to crude oil and kerosene.
EFFECT: simplified process, avoided fire danger, and reduced investments.
