FIELD: treatment of fruit surface before laying for storage.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning fruit surface and applying essential oil of fruit and epiphytic substances of cuticular layer of raw plant material onto fruit surface. Carrier is mycelium produced by extracting of Pythium irregulare micromycet biomass with the use of non-polar extractant in above-critical state.
EFFECT: reduced losses from microbial damage and increased shelf life of fruit.
