FIELD: apparatuses for feeding cooling agent onto surface of rotating rolling roll in rolling mill.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes casing having concave end surface turned to roll. Shape and size of said concave surface are such that it partially embraces from outside surface of rolling roll. Casing of apparatus has two mutually joined halves whose inner surfaces are turned one to another. First grooves are provided on mutually turned surfaces of casing halves. When said grooves are arranged one opposite to other, they restrict collecting duct. Second grooves are provided on the same mutually turned surfaces. When second grooves are arranged one opposite to other, they restrict ducts of nozzles passing from collecting duct to concave surface of casing turned to roll. Casing is provided with inlet branch pipe through which cooling agent is fed to collecting duct for its further feed through ducts of nozzles onto surface of rolling roll.

EFFECT: possibility for selecting used materials, optimized process for feeding cooling agent onto surface of rolling roll.
