FIELD: methods for processing slimes of steel grinding, rolling out and others.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mixing slime with washing solution, drying slime in straight-line furnace with rotating drum; separation of magnetic concentrate; making briquettes of dried magnetic slime in press and transporting it for remelting; cleaning washing solution; washing initial slime in washing soda solution or in other alkaline solution until suspension state; separating it from oil component due to agitation of slime until content of residual oil in wet slime no more than 1 mass %; drying slime at temperature 110 - 130 C. Separation of magnetic concentrate out of slime containing abrasive particles is realized due to magnetic separation before or after drying slime in furnace. Separation of magnetic concentrate out of abrasive-free slime is realized due to discharging it after removing oil component out of slime and drying slime in furnace. Before making briquettes magnetic concentrate is fed for mixture preparation.
EFFECT: lowered power consumption, enhanced efficiency of processing, ecological safety.
