SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transformation of vegetable cell or tissue with DNA molecule encoding monooxygenase that catalyzes conversion of aldoxime to nitrile and then this nitrile to the corresponding cyanhydrin and provides preparing a plant with changed level of expression of cyanogenic glycosides. The expression level of these substances influences on the nutrient value of plants or their resistance to pests. Invention can be used in selection of plants.
