SUBSTANCE: invention relates, in particular, to preparing tobacco transgenic plants. Method involves construction of plasmid pGBP450f comprising complementary DNA of gene CYP 11A1 of size 1754 nucleotide pairs encoding protein-precursor of cytochrome P450scc being this DNA is a component of Eco RI-fragment of size 2535 nucleotide pairs flanked with sequences of promoter 35S and terminator of cauliflower mosaic virus, and also gene for phosphinothricin acetyltransferase (gene bar) determining the resistance to phosphinothricin that is under control of nos-promoter, gene determining the resistance to kanamycin, site for onset of replication (ori) from plasmid of broad range of hosts of pSa. Tobacco transgenic plants are obtained by co-culturing protoplasts with plasmid pGBP450f linearized by hydrolysis with site-specific endonuclease restriction Bsp 120I by unique site 5'-GGGCCC. Invention provides enhancing the yield and resistance of plants to phytopathogens and to enhance the yield of agricultural production.
