FIELD: UHF equipment engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has source of electromagnetic oscillations, serially connected polarization rotator, switch from circular wave conductor to rectangular, measuring block, additionally provided with measured element, input of which is connected to output of electromagnetic oscillations source, and output is connected to first input of polarization rotator, and block for controlling polarization rotator, output of which is connected to second input of polarization rotator. Polarization rotator is made in form of circular wave conductor having diameter 5λ/6 with control winding wound around it, while in center of wave conductor a ferrite rod is mounted having length of no less than 3λ and diameter of no more than λ/6, ends of which are made in form of cones having length of no less than 2λ/3, where λ - electromagnetic wave length.

EFFECT: shorter time needed for measuring polarization characteristics of wave conducting devices.
