METHOD FOR PREDICTING POSTOPERATIONAL FLOW OF TUMOR PROCESS IN PATIENTS WITH RENOCELLULAR CANCER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: one should detect the following clinico-pathomorphological signs: variant for renal vascular construction, the quantity of 3d-order arteries supplying tumor node with blood, specific volume of microcirculatory route, availability of aneurysmatic protrusions in the walls of cancer microvessels, maturity of connective-tissue structures in composition of their wall, availability of invasion either of the wall of microvessels and/or tumor emboli in the lumen. One should detect prognostic coefficient (PC) and correcting prognostic coefficient (CPC). By total PC value minus CPC it is possible to predict the flow of tumor process: at Σ PC < -13 - favorable prediction; Σ PC > +12 - unfavorable prediction.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of prediction.
