FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the course of clear cell renal cell carcinoma. The concentrations of soluble forms of the programmed cell death receptor sPD-1 and its ligand sPD-L1 in blood serum are determined. The LR factor is calculated as the ratio of sPD-L1/sPD-1 concentrations. If the LR value is more than 0.43, an unfavourable course of the disease is predicted. If the LR value is 0.43 or less, a favourable course of the disease is predicted.
EFFECT: method ensures ab increased accuracy of disease course prediction due to high informative value of the objective indicator obtained as a result of the study for predicting survival in high-stage renal cell carcinoma.
