SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology. Essence of the method is that in samples of tumor tissue and tissue samples of the perifocal zone, taken during surgery in patients with local renal cell carcinoma of the kidney, determine the level of VEGF-A, calculate the ratio of VEGF-A in the tumor tissue to VEGF-A in the perifocal area and if its value is less than or equal to 1.0, the absence of relapse and/or metastasis is predicted, and if its value is more than 1.0, the development of relapse and/or metastasis is predicted deadlines of observation.
EFFECT: invention can be used to predict the course of the pathological process in patients with local renal cell carcinoma of the kidney after surgical treatment.
