FIELD: treatment of aqueous solutions, in particular wash water of pyrometallurgic plant.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for reducing of dissolved metal and non-metal concentration in wash water of pyrometallurgic plant. Effluent from scrubber for exhaust gas is treated for disposal "in situ" of metal and non-metal ions by addition of solution containing ferric ions, salts or other ferric ion precursor, and solution containing hydroxide ion precursor and subsequent deposition of objective ions. Reaction is carried out at temperature of at least 600C and pH of about 6 to about 10.
EFFECT: effective disposal of non-metal ions, such as selenium, tellurium and arsenic having concentration in solution more than 1 mg/l.
