FIELD: biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes native proteins, ways for activation of complement modified by so manner that protein is able to form C3-convertase that is resistant to down-regulation. Preferably, the modified protein represents the modified human C3 protein. Also, invention describes both DNA sequences encoding such proteins and DNA constructions. Invention describes also conjugates comprising such proteins and binding specifically fragment, for example, antibody, and application of such proteins and/or conjugates in therapy also. Invention can be used for humans in vivo for activation of complement and to obtain a preparation that has no immunogenic properties for humans in it using.
EFFECT: valuable biological and medicinal properties of protein.
