FIELD: sea fishing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for trawl fishing in oceans in ocean currents. Proposed trawl is provided with optical fiber interferometer fiber coils of which are arranged flush with conical backing opposite to each other. Backing is arranged coaxially with trawl. One of fiber coils of interferometer is made for controllable overlapping by screen. With trawl being lowered, one of fiber coils is overlapped, and interferometer measures depth of trawl lowering by number of interference pulses. With trawl arranged along current, both fiber coils of interferometer are open to action of current and interferometer turns into current wash meter. Thanks to it trawl can be towed towards moving fish shoal. When loaded trawl is being lifted, controllable screen overlaps one of fiber coils of interferometer, and the latter turns into meter of trawl lifting speed (by pulse repetition frequency).
EFFECT: increased catch in sea currents.
