FIELD: wet purification of gases.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of wet purification of gases and a filter and is dealt with the field of wet purification of gases from dust, drops, aerosols. The method of wet purification of gases provides, that a low-purity gas is fed through the filter elements (FE) located in series one after another perpendicularly to a vector of a gas stream, and on the FE outer surface from direction of the low-purity gas motion a washing medium (WM) in the form of a liquid is passing through the holes in the perforated container. In the process of the gas purification they change vector Vn of translational tangential motion of the WM stream by magnitude and direction provide impulse feeding of WM. In the case of a pulsed feeding of WM in the form of a liquid or liquid-gas mixtures the process of purification by FE is improved considerably. At the pulsed feeding of WM they change the speed, direction and duration of a pulse, a pulse front rise, a pulse front drop, a pulse on-off time ratio of WM feeding, consumption of WM. These characteristics are defined from a condition of maximum purification of the FE from gas impurities, minimization of the FE hydraulic resistance, maximum degree of the gas purification. The FE surface should be permanently in wet (wetted) condition to trap efficiently to trap(collect) airborne particles of aerosol and dust. The filter contains a body with FE located inside, a perforated container for washing medium a device for creation of an aerosol. The given method of wet purification and the filter ensure an increase of efficiency of purification of: the purified gas, the filter elements in operation, decrease of a water resistance in the filtering process, improvement of purification (regeneration) of the filter elements and their parts at the filter operation, the design, reduction of the filter noise level at delivery of the washing medium onto the filter element.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a decrease of operational noise and hydraulic resistance at filtration, significant improvement of purification of the filtering elements from the gas impurities.
