FIELD: hydrometallurgy of rare and trace elements.
SUBSTANCE: method, which can be used for extraction recovery and concentration of indium in sulfate zinc solutions, comprises extraction using, as extractant, organophosphorus reagents in organic diluent followed by re-extraction with sulfuric acid solution (250-450 g/dm3), said organophosphorus reagents being mixture containing in diluent di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (20-30 vol %) and isododecylphosphetane acid (5-10 vol %).
EFFECT: increased degree of recovering indium from aqueous phase and simplified technology due to use of chloride-free sulfuric acid for re-extraction.
