FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: indium is recovered from zinc sulfate solutions by extraction with solutions of di(2- ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid in hydrocarbon diluents or without them and in presence of monocarboxylic acids in organic phase. Indium is then reextracted from organic phase by sulfuric acid solutions containing chloride ions.
