FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; technology of rare-earth and trace elements; extraction of indium from sulfate zinc solutions at increased content of silica. SUBSTANCE: proposed method provides for reduction of forming difficultly laminating emulsions and increase of separation of indium at extraction stage. To this end, oil paraffin of C7-C9, fraction is additionally introduced into organic phase containing di-2- ethyl hexyl phosphorous acid and synthetic fatty acid of C13. fraction.
