METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE RISK FOR DEVELOPMENT OF HYPO- AND HYPERVOLEMIC DISORDERS AT DIFFERENT TERMS OF GESTATION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2239354 C1

FIELD: medicine, obstetrics.

SUBSTANCE: one should determine a due volume of circulating blood (VCB) regardless of pregnancy and real VCB. The value of real VCB should be detected by the following formula: VCB = C x H2/R, where R - basic resistance of rheograph, C - coefficient being equal to 47.9 for women, H - height, cm. One should calculate VCB gain index as the ratio of real VCB value at the moment of survey to due VCB value regardless of pregnancy. Evaluation of the data obtained should be carried out by taking into consideration the dynamics of VCB gain index at different terms of pregnancy. The method enables to efficiently and objectively form the risk groups for gestosis development and detect the degree of gestosis severity, necessity to conduct infusion-type therapy and value of its volume.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction.
