FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should apply a light guide towards the site of impact start under serous membrane, cross proximal branches of vagus nerve from the site of its branching up to the level of gastro-esophageal transition along the lesser curvature of stomach of gastric anterior wall due to radiation of diode laser at wave length being 805 nm and 1-1.5 W power in case of reverse light guide's movement also performed under serous membrane at the rate of 0.45-0.55 mm/sec. The method enables to decrease the damage of surrounding tissues and increase the quality of vagotomy operation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
