FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has semi-rigid casing designed as an arch having oval cross-section continuously increasing when moving from one end to the other one. Removable pelot shaped as hemisphere is movably attached to narrow casing end with Velcro ribbon. Both pelot and casing are manufactured from dense flexible material like Isalon.
EFFECT: supporting injured sternocleidomastoid muscle function without child skin maceration and neurovascular cervical fascicles compression being caused; enhanced effectiveness in forming cervical lordosis.
