SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to manual therapy, neurology, and can be used for treating torticollis in newborns. That is ensured by integrated exposure on neck tissues by manual traction therapy techniques, eliminating kyphoscoliotic deformation and torsion with giving neck position of physiological lordosis and hypercorrection to complete extension of all neck tissues on deformation side. Then the neck is fixed with the manufactured orthopedic collar in the form of a wedge turned with a base towards deformation, and with a sharp vertex in the opposite side. Neck of an orthopedic collar in the form of a wedge is fixed during the first year of the child’s life, taking off only for the duration of the complex exposure. During correction of tusks, the orthopedic collar is changed to increase the height of the wedge on the side of deformation as the degree of hypercorrection and height of the child change.

EFFECT: method provides obtaining a constant stimulating effect normalizing growth of all tissues of neck, that is achieved by elimination of kyphoscoliotic neck strain with torsion and creation of hypercorrection in physiological lordosis position with stable retention of this position during the first year of child’s life.
