FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves collecting blood to have it in the amount equal to buffer reservoir volume and forcing long-term blood circulation through filter. Further taking blood process and returning the cleaned blood to patient takes place concurrently with cleaning process. Device has means for taking blood samples, returning means and cleaning circuit having filter and the first pump for supporting blood circulation in the cleaning circuit. The cleaning circuit has buffer reservoir having outlet tube for cleaned blood to pass and pressure gage and the second pump connected to the filter for sucking off filtrate. Means for taking blood samples via the first hydraulic tract is connected to the cleaning circuit. The returning means is connected to the buffer reservoir outlet tube via the second hydraulic tract. The means for taking blood samples and the returning means optionally have pressure gages. Control unit is used for controlling operation of all pumps.
