FIELD: fuel industry; production of water-fuel emulsions.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with production of water-fuel emulsions and may be used in a fuel industry. The installation includes containers for storing a fuel, an emulsifying agent and water, that are linked by the corresponding main pipes with a device of dispersion. At that if necessary a heater may be installed on a main pipe of fuel. In the capacity of the dispersion device they use a device based on a principle of an electromagnetic velocity layer of ferromagnetic elements at the magnetic field rotational speed of 1400-3000 rpm and with a power rating of 2-5 kW/dm3 in the operational zone. There is a possibility to use alternate versions: premixing of water and an emulsifying agent, or fuel and water; or fuel and an emulsifying agent; or fuel, an emulsifying agent and water in a corresponding device for mixing with the following feeding of the produced mixture in the device of electromagnetic velocity layer. The technical result is improved stability of the water-fuel emulsions.
EFFECT: the invention ensures improvement of stability of the water-fuel emulsions.
