METHOD OF PRODUCING LIQUID PRODUCTS FROM HEAVY PETROLEUM RESIDUES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: organomineral additive (selected from: pyroshale, sapropelites, sapromixites) is disintegrated and, in quantity of 5-25%, mixed with heavy petroleum residue (selected from: straight-run mazuts, goudrons, cracking residues, heavy pyrolysis tar, heavy petroleums) at elevated temperature. Mixture is homogenized and subjected to thermal cracking at 390-440 C and elevated pressure (0.2 to 5 MPa). Disintegration of additive is performed in apparatus operated in accordance with principle of electromagnetic eddy layer of ferromagnetic elements at magnetic induction 0.08-0.3 T and magnetic field rotation frequency 1500-3000 rpm. Dispensing, mixing, and homogenization of petroleum residue with additive is effected in apparatus operated according to the above principle with power 20-60 kW and specific power 2-5 kW per 1 cu.dm in working zone.
