FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in placement of masking aerosol veils in the atmosphere, effective in visible, IR - and radar-ranges of electro-magnetic pulse wavelength (EMP), and on spreading surface of several locally distributed false targets operating in visible and IR-ranges of lengths of EMP wavelength and simulating radiation of the real protected object. Device includes metal cylindrical case. It includes series-placed electroigniter, throwing charge, pyro-delay mechanism, piston with opening charge, and also sections with the useful loading and dumped cover. The useful load in the form of smoke-forming material superimposed on flexible bottom, executed in the form of the segments forming the hollow central channel, and operating in visible and IR-ranges is placed in the first section from the throwing charge. The useful load in the form of the rolled packages from single sheets of the smoke-forming material, with spring fixed between them, is placed in additional section, and the end faces of these sheets are bound from above by the piston-disk with initiating charge, pyrotechnically related through hollow tube with another pyrotechnic chain. In last section, the useful load in the form of a set of galettes packed into packs, in protective shell from metal semicylinders, and creating the aerosol veil at their dispersion in atmosphere is placed, operating in the IR-range of EMP.
