FIELD: protection of small-sized civil (for example, vehicles) and military (infantry fighting vehicles, tanks) objects against reconnaissance and attacking means of the enemy laid and acting in the optical and radio-wave bands of wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation by setting a combination aerosol curtain.
SUBSTANCE: the device has at least one launching tube with a loaded grenade installed in it, grenade locking and launching assemblies, a mounting seat in the form of an annular groove is made in the bottom part of the launching tube on its inner surface, and a locking assembly compatible with the mounting seat of the launching tube is made on the outer surface of the grenade bottom part, an induction mechanism of grenade launching is made in the bottom parts of the launching tube and grenade; the grenade locking assembly has laminated spring catches made in the form of a clamping ring with holes for the locking member of the catch; the induction mechanism of grenade launching in the form of an interference-free field-producing coil installed in the bottom part of the launching tube with an electric circuit connector, and an interference-free field-producing coil with an electric pyrotechnically coupled to the propelling charge; the grenade is made in the form of a cylindrical tubular body with a useful load placed in a protective shell limited from the top by a cover, and from the bottom - by a bottom part with a movable piston, explosive delayers are positioned in the bottom part, they are pyrotechnically coupled to the bursting charge of the piston. The useful load is made of sections placed in succession in the protective shell of various materials separated from one another and capable of forming of a non-transparent combination aerosol curtain at their ejection. The device makes it possible to eliminate the disadvantages indicated in the analogs by creation in the atmosphere by the grenade of a combination aerosol curtain of useful load made of sections of materials of various types positioned in succession in the protective shell; the grenade locking assembly in the launching tube is made directly on the grenade an electric contact device and locking assembly. Reduction of the mass (by three times) and overall dimensions of the claimed device (by six times) essentially reduces the recoil force at a launch of the grenade, and the use of the useful load of an enhanced efficiency makes it possible to maintain and even enhance the efficiency of device action as compared with the analog, providing at the same time the compatibility of the device with the detection system.
EFFECT: enhanced ratio of object protection.
