FIELD: time-space measurements of interference-field phase and amplitude distribution.
SUBSTANCE: proposed photodetector designed for measuring time-space distribution of amplitudes and phases of interference field of opposing light fluxes crossing it and for producing signal depending on position of photodetector relative to interference field formed by light fluxes with arbitrary form of wavefront has interference-sensing photoelectric layer and supply electrodes. Photoelectric layer is made in the form of cell inscribed in sphere whose diameter is smaller than λmin/2n, where λmin is minimal wavelength of photodetector effective range; n is refractive index of photoelectric cell.
EFFECT: enlarged angular deviation range of photodetector for producing desired signal.
