FIELD: equipment for cooling of liquid products, such as milk, may be used in agricultural production, food-processing industry, as well as in processing and storage of milk and other food products.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has upper accumulating reservoir arranged in open air and made in the form of vertically positioned sleeve equipped with at least one slot, and hermetically sealed bottom. Slots are extending along generatrices and tightly closed with inserts made from elastic material, such as rubber. Upper accumulating reservoir is positioned in pallet, whose bottom is arranged above lower accumulating reservoir. Upper part of pallet is connected through pipe and lower commutating valve with lower part of lower accumulating reservoir, where refrigerating machine evaporator is positioned. Evaporator is connected with compressor and condenser. Drain opening and float valve are arranged in upper part of lower accumulating reservoir. Float valve is connected to water pipeline. Lower part of lower accumulating reservoir is additionally connected through pump, heat-exchanger, pipe and upper commutating valve to lower commutating valve, and through end opening of upper accumulating reservoir, vertical axial feeding pipe to its lower part. Flat upper horizontal screen and valves are arranged on feeding pipe above edge of upper accumulating reservoir. Coolant carrier distributor made in the form of annular trough is positioned on upper outer surface of upper accumulating reservoir in axially aligned relationship therewith. Openings are uniformly distributed in annular trough bottom and extending tangentially of outer surface of upper accumulating reservoir. Annular netted screen is arranged in axially aligned relationship with respect to upper accumulating reservoir. Valves are made in the form of apertures arranged at single level in feeding pipe wall and closed with elastic rings put onto its surface. Air cooling condenser for refrigerating machine is arranged in front of outer cooling surface of upper accumulating reservoir.

EFFECT: reduced capital and operating expenses, enhanced reliability in operation, and increased cold production and accumulating capacity under low air temperature conditions.
