FIELD: medicine, physiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creating cold-safety solution for freezing leukocytes and their retaining in physiologically active state after thawing. Cold-safety solution for freezing leukocytes in the ratio 1:1 at moderately low temperature and pH 7.0-7.4 contains hexamethylene-bis-tetraoxyethylurea and water for injection. Leukocytes are frozen to -20oC being solution contains additionally hydroxymethylethylpyridine succinate in the following ratio of components, %: hexamethylene-bis-tetraoxyethylurea, 26.0-30.0; hydroxymethylethylpyridine succinate, 0.1-0.2, and water for injection, up to 100 ml. Cold-safety solution in freezing leukocytes concentrate to -20oC provides the safety of high percent of physiologically active leukocyte cells.
EFFECT: valuable properties of solution.
