FIELD: medicine, hematology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryopreserving blood cells. The cold-safety solution used for freezing platelets comprises the following components, wt.-%: hexamethylene-bis-tetraoxyethylurea, 10.0; sodium fumarate, 1.5-2.3; citric acid, 0.9-1.1; water for injection, the balance. The solution provides retention of high percent of physiologically full-value platelets in cryopreserving at moderately low temperature.
