FIELD: electron-beam welding of materials, namely manufacture and restoration of articles of titanium alloys.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of selecting line of restoration cross section in zone of non-matching of maximum vibration loads; placing inlet edge of blade on flange of insert; arranging plate on back side of blade at overlapping inlet edge of blade; selecting total thickness of plate and blade along the whole restoration section equal to thickness of blade profile in restoration cross section; performing through fusion welding operation during two passes: realizing one pass from end of blade to outlet edge of it; performing second pass at shifting electron beam to insert; realizing heat treatment by scanning electron beam and providing width of insert flange equal to doubled cross section of root of welded seam.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joint.
