FIELD: rocket fuels.
SUBSTANCE: first sample of charge is prepared using process additives regulating burning rate of blended solid rocket fuel and powdered oxidant. With the same materials, second sample of charge is prepared using the same process additives and powdered oxidant preliminarily exposed to loading similar to those existing under real rocket fuel charge preparation conditions. The two samples are burned down and difference between burning rates of both is determined for calculating then amount of process additives needed. Thereafter, charge with calculated amount of process additives is prepared.
EFFECT: enabled preparation of rocket fuel charge with desired burning rate taking into consideration characteristics of powdered oxidant.
