FIELD: mechanical engineering; multicylinder internal combustion engines with fuel injection into cylinders. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has cylinder head with intake holes in which intake valves are fitted, intake branch pipes with means for fuel delivery laid directly from intake holes and opening in gas collecting receiver connected to air cleaning system. Side wall of receiver has connecting holes for said branch pipes, and one of end face walls has through neck by means of which receiver space is connected to air cleaning system. Receiver accommodates also noise-and-gas fluctuations damper made of porous noise-absorbing material permeable to gas. Novelty is that damper is made in form of convex diaphragm placed in receiver neck overlapping its through passage. Diaphragm has streamlined shape arching towards receiver space. Diaphragm can be provided with through perforation holes, and conductivity (porosity) of diaphragm structure can differentially increase from its periphery to center.
