FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multicylinder internal combustion engines with injection of fuel into cylinders. According to first design version, proposed multicylinder internal combustion engine contains cylinder head with intake ports in which intake valves are installed, intake branch pipes provided with fuel feed devices coming directly from intake ports and getting to common gas collecting receiver connected to intake and air cleaning system which has cylindrical housing limited by end face walls and union coaxially installed in receiver space and secured on its end face wall. Said union is arranged inside receiver and its outlet is connected to intake and air cleaning system of internal combustion engine. All outlet dynamic sections of intake branch pipes are located in one plane X-X laid square to side wall of receiver and located at a distance of 1/4L from end face wall of receiver on which union is secured. Inlet dynamic section of union is located in plane Y-Y parallel to plane X-X and passing through center of gravity of receiver space volume where L is length of receiver space. Air intake branch pipe and air cleaner are shown additionally. According to other design version all dynamic sections of intake branch pipes are located in one plane XX-XX laid square to side wall of receiver and passing through center of gravity of receiver space volume, and inlet dynamic section of union is located in plane YY-YY parallel to plane XX-XX and located at a distance of 1/4L from end face wall of receiver directed opposite to dynamic section of union. EFFECT: improved filling of cylinders, provision of suppression of resonance fluctuations of gas in engine intake system, improved power output, reduced fuel consumption and improved ecological characteristics. 3 cl, 2 dwg
