FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has titanium nickelide wire possessing shape memory and super-elasticity properties, two branches and two active elements. The branches are arranged with their two free ends meeting and overlapping each other and being movable. Each active element is manufactured as C-shaped arch. The active elements are connected in series to each other and to the other ends of the branches. The branches are smoothly bent with the convex portion outward at 120-170° each. Branch curvature radius gets smaller in the central portion.
EFFECT: high reliability of obturation.
