FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents for regenerative and haemostatic purposes. Method of producing biomaterial based on film collagen involves processing fresh-dry reindeer skin by removing fat, muscles and part of the dermis, treatment with alkali, dehairing and washing, at the same time the skin is treated with a mixture of solutions from the flesh side using smearing method: 9% potassium hydroxide solution obtained by mixing with distilled water chemically pure potassium hydroxide in weight of 2% of the skin weight, 9% sodium sulphide solution obtained by mixing with distilled water chemically pure sodium sulphide in weight of 1% of the skin weight, and 9% calcium hydroxide solution obtained by mixing with distilled water chemically pure calcium hydroxide in weight of 1.6% of the weight of the skin. Then the skin is kept for 2 hours at room temperature and washed with water. Further, pickling is carried out for 48 hours in 3% acetic acid solution with addition of table salt in ratio of 1 kg of salt per 1 kg of skin weight, and volume of 3% acetic acid solution should be sufficient for complete immersion of skin. Then the skin is washed with water with a synthetic detergent at ratio of 200:1 for 10 minutes in running water for 20 minutes and dried for 3 days. Obtained material is treated with fine-grained emery paper on the flesh side of the skin, cut into fragments and treated with 20% sodium lauryl sulphate, holding the material in shaker-incubator for 48 hours at temperature of 37 °C and 200 rpm. Further, the obtained material is washed with running water until the washing water stops soaping and forming foam when agitated. Washed material is sterilized by ionizing radiation and packed into glass containers filled with a preserving agent.
EFFECT: disclosed method of producing a biomaterial based on film collagen provides a regenerative and haemostatic agent with minimum antigenic activity.
