SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely method of producing collagen material. Method of producing collagen material includes peroxide-alkali treatment of skin of freshwater fish selected from silver carp, common carp, Chinese carp, mirror carp, for this purpose, skins are poured with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and sodium hydroxide, held, then treated skins are washed in running water, washed skins are poured with a solution of acetic acid and maintained, the obtained mass is homogenized and sent for drying, which is carried out in vacuum-sublimation machine, dried sheets are cut into plates and tightly packed under certain conditions.

EFFECT: above described method allows increasing pH of porous material, reducing density of porous material, increasing moisture capacity of porous material and enlarging raw material base for producing porous medical material due to use of freshwater fish skins as raw material.
