FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed torsion spring of locomotive has bar with lever hinge-connected with locomotive body and two supports, one of which is provided with splines, being rigidly secured on locomotive frame, and the other is bearing support. Torsion spring is provided with shaft. Splined support is installed for movement on frame in guides and it has additional hole with multistart thread arranged in parallel with rod. Multistart thread is designed for fitting in one end of shaft provided with similar thread. Other end of shaft is fitted in additional hole of bearing support for rotation relative to its longitudinal axis. Gear rigidly secured on said shaft is in meshing with gear sector rigidly secured on torsion bar.
EFFECT: improved smoothness of riding of rail vehicles and riding comfort for passengers and locomotive crew members.
