FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for damping vibrations of locomotive body relative to bogie. Proposed torsion spring consists of rod 1 arranged in splined and bearing supports installed on bogie frame and hinge-connected through lever with body. Both supports are provided with splines and they engage with mating splines made on outer surface of hollow cylindrical envelope which is provided with longitudinal slot and splines engaging with like splines on torsion rod. Rod has different-length arc projections 7, 8, 9 on its outer generating surface which are arranged for movement in said slot of hollow cylindrical envelope.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of torsion spring.
