FIELD: railway transport; rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed torsion bar of locomotive spring suspension contains rod with lever hinge coupled with locomotive body, and two supports. One of support is movable and is provided with splines. Other support is fixed relative to locomotive bogie frame. Long-pitch thread is cut on outer surface of rod being engaged with mating thread on inner surface of round section hollow beam. Beam is provided with flange rigidly connected to movable support arranged in slot of locomotive bogie. Rod is provided with splines engaging with mating splines in movable support. Other end of rod arranged in fixed support is furnished with said lever.
EFFECT: simplified design of torsion bar, improved reliability.
