FIELD: metallurgy, in particular cobalt- and iron-based alloys.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for producing of alloys in vacuum induction furnace for manufacturing of amorphous strands by using quartz crucibles. Claimed method includes melting of raw batch, introduction of alloy addition, final melting, cooling to the casting temperature and casting in non-cooled mold. Alloy casting and followed cooling duration in mold is 0.1-0.2 and 5-7.5 min respectively for 1 kg of alloy.
EFFECT: reduced strains in raw cobalt-based alloy bullet, increased melting rate of bullet and reduced consumption of quartz crucibles by 25 %.
