FIELD: production of magnesium alloys. SUBSTANCE: alloy is produced and cast in induction vacuum furnace under inert gas atmosphere. Charge is melted in graphite crucibles, melt is superheated to a temperature exceeding the melting temperature of basic component. After superheating, the melt is mixed with graphite stirrer or by electromagnetic method. Melt is drained through discharge device in crucible bottom into casting bowl and thence, through distributing grating, into lingots or molds. EFFECT: larger number of ingots of required quality and appearance per heat. 3 cl, 1 tb
