FIELD: mechanical engineering; modification of machine components surfaces .
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of mechanical engineering and may be used for modification of machine components surfaces with the purpose to increase their service performances. The method provides for a pre-treatment preparation of a surface of an item. Clearing and heating of the item is conducted with the help of a bombardment by ions of plasma of the current-carrying material. Diffusion of the current-carrying material ions into the surface of the item, in which an alloy based on aluminum is used as the current-carrying material is conducted into the depth of up to 30 microns at the negative potential in the range of 220-600 V is applied to the item. Then up to 12 microns deep deposition of the current-carrying material is conducted on the surface of the item with a negative potential of no more than 100 V applied to the item with the following heat treatment. In the capacity of a current-carrying material they use an alloy based on aluminum at the following ratio of components ( mass %): silicon - 4-12, cobalt - 5-15, yttrium - 0.1 - 0.6, aluminum - the rest. The thermal treatment of the metal item is carried out in the open air at the temperature of 600-620°С within 4-6 hours. Application of the invention in the industry for thermal treatment of vanes of the compressors considerably reduces the cost of the process of an ionic treatment of the items surfaces.
EFFECT: the invention ensures, that application of the method in industry considerably reduces the cost of the process of the ionic treatment of metal items surfaces.
